These services can be tailored to suit your practice’s specific needs. An exam room with adequate power supply, cooperation with scheduling exams and proper coding/billing are necessary to participate. In office testing is a convenient and comfortable means of treating patients and maintaining control of all follow-up visits.  Having a technologist on-site allows for more efficient exam scheduling and less time from scheduling the exam to exam completion.

Final interpretation of the exams may be accomplished in a manner that best suites your needs.

  1. AZ Doppler can arrange outside interpretation by a qualified entity
  2. The practice may choose to interpret the diagnostic exams.
  3. The practice may select an entity of its choice to provide exam interpretation and reporting.

Upon completion of each exam AZ Doppler will provide all necessary information for exam interpretation including: technologist preliminary results, ultrasound images (in digital form) and the technologist worksheet to the interpreting physician. CPT/ICD-9 codes will be provided to the billing department.

The practice bills the patient’s insurance company for the exams completed by AZ Doppler. AZ Doppler bills the practice.  AZ Doppler fees for service are discussed in person. We are more than happy to arrange a meeting, at your convenience, to discuss payment and any other questions you may have.
